Palm Pilot

SDA

This application (3669 bytes) allows, when a cell phone is put in front of the Palm and can communicate with it using an infrared link, to remove all the SMS as soon as they arrive. This application can easily drain your Palm battery as it will run as long as you let it active. This application is really useful when a great number of messages is queued, and your phone does not let you remove all of them at the same time (e.g., Siemens S35i).

The source code (for Quartus Forth) is available here.

ButtonSync 0.2

This small application (2309 bytes) allows you to launch a network sync instead of a serial sync when pressing the cradle sync button on a Palm Vx. It has to be assigned to this button using the prefs menu.

Source code is available here. You will need Quartus Forth to rebuild the application.

PhoneTime 0.4

Now that JPilot is able to set the correct date onto my Palm Pilot, my cellular phone (Siemens S35i) was the only device suffering from a ever-coming-back offset. PhoneTime, that you can download freely by clicking here (13201 bytes) , fixes this mistake. Typically, this is the application you need once every three months, but then you really want it. Note that it probably works with other kinds of cell phones as soon as they have an infrared modem port. This version has the ability to record the dialog between the Palm Pilot and the phone, so that we can use it to port it on other brands. This program has been developped with Quartus Forth.
